Weeks 8-11 (Mar. 17- Apr. 4)

Lotsa rain been hapnin' around here... thus the lack of updates.

The Glass for FP Finally Arrived!

The New Construction Guard: Overseeing the construction of the new Front Entry Walkway...

5" Drainage pipe installed... which had to be run in between the existing 2" water pipe and Network/ Cable pipe running to the RV Park. This isn't ideal, but could have turned out to be an extreme amount of work... it ended up that it was level, right between the two, and was able to be slipped in between w/o having to elbow the water pipe over the drain.

Week 7 March 10-14

Mar 10-13: Carpeting, Tiling & Cleaning...

The frames for the glass inserts are ready,


Carpet is laid in the offices,


Refurbished Desks are moved in,


"Conference Room" ready to "go",


New Custodial Closet Tiled & Shelved,


Cement bases for the parking lot lights formed,


A near mis-hap, and the Cookie Monster visits TECH! -Haha.

March 7

I know it may be a little uncouth, and more than a little confusing to advise you of an update to an update, –and that, a day prior to this one– though, both of them being updates to their respective dates, were in fact, "updated" as it were, today. But believe me, it's worth it. -Joel K.

Week 6 March 3-7

Mar 3-5: Library Shelving Assembled, Books Organized, Carpet Removed.






Mar 6: Carpet Adhesive Removed, Laminate Flooring Installed

Because the Carpet Adhesive couldn't make amends w/ the Vinyl Planking Adhesive, it was decided that the Carpet Adhesive should graciously yield to the incumbent flooring, seeing as the travel expenses had already been spent. All seemed well until CA received what appeared to be a very nasty email from VPA, which actually turned out to have been sent by the Old Armsrtong Vinyl from the bathrooms down the hall ('cause OAV was being asked to leave also). So both OAV, and the mistaken CA, dug in thier heels and were forced to leave under duress w/ solvents and heavy sharp metal objects. Since CA was spread over such a wide area, it was less fortified in its efforts to defend its territory, but still required extra man hours, and the purchase of industrial adhesive removers; OAV, because of its compact area proved to be a bit more formidable, and proceeded to "just [make] a general mess of things". Needless to say, these actions necessitated the revocation of both CA & OAV's equity accounts, and lease deposits. The emotionally grieved VA, has been compensated by the waiving of any entrance, or lisenceing fees, and will not be charged room & board.

In good faith, VPA has decided to send letters of contact to both CA & OAV in attempt at resolving any matters of dissent, to which no response has been forthcoming as of yet. We hope each party can reconcile any and all misunderstandings in a timely, and Christian manner. We also appreciate your concern in this matter. -Ed.

More dirt, More Leveling

In the morning, farmer Darren Schulz... err, McDonald diligently sets about the mornings activities, as he begins the day by harvesting the night's crop of Red Clay...

And by 1:00pm... A bumper crop! We must have some of the fastest growing Dirt in the whole State! We should have a Race... I challenge any other State to produce as much or more Red Clay as we do... Over night. Please comment your entries, I'll sort them, and post a roster...
